The Aqara Water Leak Sensor T1 is a compact water detector. The sensor runs on a battery (CR2032) and communicates via Zigbee 3.0. With the sensor you monitor a surface/space, the device detects water at a layer of 0.5mm (flat surface). In addition, the sensor has an IP67 rating, which means that the sensor is guaranteed to function in humid and dusty environments.
The T1 version is the successor to the previous generation and has several improvements, including Zigbee 3.0 and OTA support. This is the official European version with CE approval and meets the legal requirements.
Compatible with popular smart home ecosystems through the Aqara Hubs, including Matter, HomeKit, Alexa, Google Home, IFTTT and more. In addition, the sensor is also directly compatible with SmartThings via the Aeotec Smart Home Hub.
Compared to the previous generation, the T1 version also has support for Over-The-Air (OTA) updates. This is only possible in combination with an Aqara hub.
